Play on southpaws, play on.
Left-handed gamers, rejoice. Thanks to hardwire designer Steven De Luca, the classic Nintendo NES controller has more or less been reverse-engineered to satisfy the ergonomic needs of southpaws in the world over. De Luca recently commenced a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter that highlights the Goofy Foot—an apt moniker inspired by the skateboarding position. As you observe the image above, you’ll notice that the A+B buttons and the directional pad have switched sides. The device is currently priced at $46 USD with an expected release in May 2017.
