Just like Snapchat.
Since officially launching its Snapchat copycat, Stories, last summer, Instagram has unabashedly adopted a bevy of its competitor’s features, including live video, disappearing posts, and geofilters. Now you can add one more to the list as Instagram has officially added geostickers to its arsenal. A continuation of the geofilters and stickers it introduced last year, the geostickers include location-specific designs to give users “another creative option for adding context to your everyday moments.” Currently, the stickers are limited to just two cities (New York and Jakarta), but Instagram promises that more cities will be added in the near future.
The update is available now as a part of Instagram 10.11 for both iOS and Android.
