Nintendo Switch Live Presentation Now Has an Official Date and Start Time

Witness the Switch in all its glory.

This past October, Nintendo announced that they will be hosting a live presentation to debut the highly-anticipated Nintendo Switch device. January 12 was and is still pegged as the official date for the event, but the electronics stalwart didn’t reveal the exact time. Now, Nintendo has set the function to launch at precisely 8 p.m. PST/ 11 p.m. EST. Interested viewers will be able to stream the presentation from the company’s official website. Not to mention, the entire shebang will presumably be held in Tokyo, Japan.
So, what can one expect from the live presentation? Ostensibly, Nintendo will relay succinct details regarding the hardware and software of the Switch. Moreover, the mentioning of impending game titles for the inaugural console may also be touted—The Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild, most possibly. The device is slated for an official release this March 2017, but there is still no word on whether it will be a worldwide launch or a stateside circulation. Nonetheless, set your tab ready to tune into the forthcoming presentation.
In case you missed it, watch Jimmy Fallon get a firsthand look at the console here.
