Promises superior picture quality at all viewing angles
The next generation of LCD TV viewing/streaming is here thanks to LG. Its SUPER UHD TVs (models SJ9500, SJ8500 and SJ8000) will feature Nano Cell technology, the most most advanced color-enhancing LCD panel tech to date. By utilizing uniformly-sized particles approximately one nanometer in diameter, the game changer will “render highly nuanced and accurate colors while maintaining picture quality at wider viewing angles” LG announced in a press release.
Tim Alessi, the head of product marketing at LG Electronics USA said:
“Our 2017 SUPER UHD TV lineup with LG’s proprietary Nano Cell technology is a breakthrough in display technology that advances the LCD TV viewing experience by combining an expanded color gamut with the ability to more accurately create those colors, resulting in superior picture quality regardless of viewing angle, Nano Cell is another example of how LG is innovating and pushing the boundaries of display technology to meet the evolving needs of our customers.”
The newest generation of SUPER UHD TVs will be on display at LG’s booth in the Las Vegas Convention Center during CES 2017 from January 5-8.
